Garlic Butter Mushrooms Skillet – These are INSANELY addictive! With minimal ingredients and ready in no time, these onion garlic butter mushrooms are the side dish everyone will raves about at your dinners. The garlic butter sauce is so good, you’ll be serving these mushrooms with everything!

Ingredients you need


  •     1 pound (450g) button mushrooms, cleaned and halved
  •     1 tablespoon butter
  •     1 tablespoon olive oil
  •     1/4 cup (60ml) low-sodium vegetable stock
  •     4 cloves garlic, minced
  •     1 medium onion, minced
  •     1/4 teaspoon salt
  •     1/2 teaspoon pepper
  •     Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
  •     Red chili pepper flakes, for garnish

Directions

1. To make the onion garlic butter mushrooms: In a skillet over medium-high, heat the butter and olive oil and sauté the onion until softened. Add the halved mushrooms and cook for about 4-5 minutes until mushrooms are golden and crispy on the edges.

2. Pour in the vegetable stock to deglaze the skillet and cook for 2 minutes, to reduce slightly. Stir through 1 tablespoon of parsley and minced garlic to the mushrooms. Cook for a further 30 seconds, until fragrant. Season lightly with salt and pepper, and serve the onion garlic butter mushrooms immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley and red chili pepper flakes. Enjoy!
